After overcoming a dogged performance by league secretary Kieron O'Prey of
Crosland Moor 21-16 in the first round, he found the going much easier with a 21-3 win over Martin Peacock of Milnsbridge BC, a 21-9 semi-final score against Andrew Rose of Linthwaite CBC, and then a 21-12 victory in the final against Ray Whitwam of
Crosland Moor.
He put out a winner of both, county colleague Jack Dyson, in the first round, 21-17, before defeating Trevor Boothroyd of
Crosland Moor to 18 in the quarters.
He beat Terry Brook (
Crosland Moor BC) 21-19 to go through.
The Junior Snooker Championship final is at
