People from all over the UK took their marvellous moggies to the two-day show hosted by The Viking Cat Club at Sports Connexion and kept the judges busy as they cast their expert eyes and hands over a number of different breeds, including Siberians, Maine Coons, Norwegian Forest Cats, Exotics, Sacred Birmans, British Shorthairs,
Cornish Rex, Burmese and Siamese.

This year however, it's back in full swing with exhibits of over 40 cats from seven different breeds ranging from pure breeds such as Persian,
Cornish Rex and Rag Dolls, to your good old domestic cat...
The Devon Rex,
Cornish Rex and Sphynx don't have much fur but you will need to bathe it regularly to avoid oil buildup.
Unlike the
Cornish Rex, Devon Rex and LaPerm breeds which also have frizzy coats, the Selkirk Rex possesses a dominant gene and has a different "curl phenotype" or visible hair texture altogether.
Attendees will see pedigreed cats of many different breeds including: Abyssinians, American Bobtail, American Curl, American Shorthair, American Wirehair, Balinese, Birman, Bombay, British Shorthair, Burmese, Chartreux, Colorpoint Shorthair,
Cornish Rex, Devon Rex, Egyptian Mau, European Burmese, Exotic, Havana Brown, Japanese Bobtail, Javanese, Korat, Laperm, Maine Coon Cat, Manx, Norweigian Forest Cat, Ocicat, Oriental, Persian, Ragdoll, Scottish Fold, Selkirk Rex, Siamese, Siberian, Singapura, Somali, Sphynx, Tonkinese, Turkish Angora, and Turkish Van.
She's been showing her
Cornish Rex cats for 34 years now, and they always have Japanese names.
Dozens of dogs (including little Elle Lawson's Gigi, pretty in pink) and at least one cat (Elisabeth Waters'
Cornish Rex, Luna) turned out with their adoring owners for the Animal Rescue Coalition's fifth annual "A Dog's Night Out" at Saks, courtesy of Sally Schule, who thoughtfully provided everyone with wipes, just in case.
Rex breeds Two Rex breeds are recognized by the CFA: the Devon Rex (see Figure 16-10) and the
Cornish Rex (see Figure 16-11).
