conservation area could lose some of its streets under plans to be debated this week.
Properties within a
conservation area are subject to stricter planning regulations and any changes to buildings will have to be inkeeping with the character and appearance of the area.

SOON, work is expected to start on the construction of a row of modern, 12m high, three-storey terraced housing on the Church Lane House site which lies at the heart of the historic core of the Whitburn
Conservation Area.
The appraisals for each area will also be on display at drop-in sessions where local residents, property owners and businesses can view and comment on the drop in sessions to discuss the plans, record any comments that the public may have and answer questions about the particular
conservation area.
