Cinnamon pie

A pastry made by making a ball of the scraps of dough left from making a pie crust, rolling it flat, then covering it first with a layer of butter or oleo and then with a layer of sugar and a sprinkling of cinnamon. The result was then either baked flat or else folded over in the manner of making a fried pie and then baked.
