Between roughly AD 900 and 1150, remote
Chaco Canyon was a major centre of culture for the Ancient Pueblo Peoples.
Instead, it spread to other environmental struggles across the U.S., indeed to my own state of New Mexico where indigenous groups are fighting against fracking in the Greater
Chaco Canyon area.
The area is between the ancient Pueblo homelands of
